Verbier offers the best freeride terrain you can find in the Alps. The possibilities of different runs and itineraries, obviously depend on weather and snow conditions, terrain for skiing can vary from long and wide powder slopes, to narrow steep couloirs, from big open bowls to technical lines and drops.
This valley is situated in the Valais Region and is surrounded by spectacular mountains such as, the Grand Combin 4314m and the Petit Combin 3663m and within the ski area you can ski from the top of the Mt. Fort 3330m, the Mt. Gelé 3023m, the famous Bec des Rosses 3222m, that host every spring the Verbier Xtreme Contest.
On the other side of the valley we have the less known Bruson area, which offers the best tree skiing you can ever imagine. Surmounted by the Mt. Rogneux 3084m this is an exceptional freeride area, quieter than Verbier, but still with many possibilities.
